How does it work?
Each solo, pair, or team will have a wrapped copy of the same puzzle. At the same time, puzzlers will open their puzzle and race to assemble it as quickly as possible.
How big is a Team?
A Team is up to 4 people. If you're an individual, you can register by yourself and I will group you up with other puzzlers to form a team. If you're a group of 2 or 3 puzzlers, you can decide during registration if you would be open to other puzzlers joining your group or if you would like to puzzle with just your registered group. If you're a group of 4, you're all set!
What are the rules?
The most important rule is to be respectful of your fellow puzzlers and to have fun! This is a family-friendly casual competition so there are no limitations in any supplies you may need to help you puzzle. There is a time limit (generally 1.5 - 2 hours) so if you're not finished by that time you will be asked to pack up your puzzle. (It's okay if this happens - I promise you wouldn't be the first!)
Do I need to bring anything?
The only thing you really need to bring is your puzzling brain! If you'd like, you are free to bring any puzzling accessories you may have (box top holder, sorting trays, etc.) Water and light snacks will be provided. Each event will also have a puzzle swap area if you wish to bring some puzzles to trade.
Are there prizes?
There is a small prize for the 1st in each event to complete their puzzle.
How much does it cost?
It is a free event, and you can take home your puzzle afterwards.
I'm scared - I've never done this before!
No worries! We have lots of first-timers and you don't know if you like something until you try it. This is a low-pressure event and all skill levels and experience levels are welcome.
